Volunteering
We are always looking for new volunteers to come on board and assist us to deliver programs and services to our community. Police and Working with Children Checks required.
Accounts
We use Xero accounting program and are looking for a volunteer to complete our accounts each week (or possible fortnightly). The hours of this position are flexible and would only require a commitment of around 2 hours per week (more if you would like to do other admin tasks)
Support Person/Administration
Much of our work involves providing hands on assistance to people through our 'Neighbour Assist' program (ie. filling in forms, contacting agencies, connecting services, making appointments, researching information etc).
We are seeking a person to assist us to deliver this service. It is a case of people come in when they require assistance, therefore we can never predict the flow of assistance required. The person fulfilling this role would need to be very flexible in the work that they do, be committed to following up and completing tasks and be willing to work with people from non-english speaking backgrounds.
Friday Volunteer
This role is what was once called 'Girl Friday', we are seeking someone to volunteer their time from 9am-1pm every Friday. The role includes setting up and supporting our Friday groups and light admin duties (mainly answering the phones and manning the reception desk)
